Welcome to the home page of Patmos Library. We are a small, rural public library located in southeast Ottawa County, in the township and village of Jamestown, Michigan. We are a beautiful turn of the century styled library built in 1999 along the site of an interurban train station site from over 100 years ago.

Coming May 24
Beginning June 28, 2010, Lakeland Library Cooperative implemented changes due to statewide budget cuts that
affect all libraries in the Cooperative.
If you have a Patmos Library card the following guidelines apply:
You can place holds on Patmos Library materials, including new books and
audio visual (AV) materials owned by Patmos Library.
You can place holds on items owned by Lakeland libraries
except for AV (CDs,DVDs, and other multimedia items)
and on new books less than six months old.
Your hold pick up location will be Patmos Library.
You can visit other Lakeland libraries
and check out AV and new books;
however, you must also
return them to the library where they were checked out.
Hold limit of 10 items.
If you have a card from another Lakeland library,
the following guidelines apply:
Your pick up location will be the library
named on the front of your library card.
You can check out AV and new books from
Patmos Library if they are on the shelf when you
are at the library;
however, you must also return
them to Patmos Library.
You can visit Patmos Library and
other Lakeland libraries and
check out materials available on the shelf.
If you have a card from a Grand Rapids Public Library,
the following guidelines apply:
You can visit Patmos Library and other
Lakeland libraries and check out materials
available on the shelf.
You must return material to the library where it was
checked out.
You will not be able to place holds on Patmos Library or other
Lakeland library materials due to GRPL’s separate library
catalog, Evergreen.
Thank you for your understanding. Libraries deeply regret service cuts. These cuts have allowed us to maintain other services such as interlibrary loan delivery.
